I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
